🌍🪐 Jupiter: Our Protector or a Villain?

Did you know that
our Earth is not alone in this vast universe?
In our solar system, it even has a protector—
or perhaps a silent villain?

In our solar system, there exists a gigantic planet
called Jupiter 🟤
So enormous that
more than 300 Earths could fit inside it!

Jupiter plays a very important role 👀
As it moves through space,
it uses its powerful gravity to
either pull in dangerous rocks and icy bodies
(called asteroids and comets ☄️)
or deflect their paths,
so they do not collide with Earth.

In simple terms,
Jupiter stands in front of Earth
like a gigantic bodyguard 💪🌍

A fascinating event occurred in 1994,
when a large comet named
Shoemaker–Levy 9
entered our solar system.
This comet could have been dangerous for Earth,
but instead it collided with Jupiter 💥
and shattered into many pieces.
In this way, Earth was saved from a major threat.

But the story does not end here 🤔
Scientists say that sometimes
Jupiter’s own gravity
can accidentally push
some space rocks
in the direction of Earth.

That is why experts say
Jupiter is
neither a complete hero 🦸
nor a complete villain 😈
but rather
an extremely powerful yet silent player.

If Jupiter did not exist,
the journey of life on Earth
might have been far more difficult 🌱✨

The universe teaches us that
this small Earth is not alone—
the entire solar system
works together to protect it 🌌❤️
