Did you know?
A magnificent galaxy exists 28 million light-years away from us, and it’s called the Sombrero Galaxy!
It’s so vast that it contains 100 billion stars — that’s 100,000,000,000 shining lights like our Sun! 🌟🌟🌟
Right at its center hides a supermassive black hole — a billion times bigger than our Sun! 😲
This black hole is so powerful that stars and planets orbit around it as if they are circling in reverence. 🔁🌍🌞
And listen to this!
The galaxy is so gigantic that even if a rocket flew at a speed fast enough to circle Earth seven times in one second,
it would still take 50,000 years to reach from one end of the galaxy to the other! 🚀⌛
All of this was discovered thanks to the Hubble Space Telescope, which studied this galaxy back in 2014.
Now imagine this:
If the Sombrero Galaxy were to disappear right now,
we wouldn’t find out until 28 million years later! 😮🕰️
The universe is truly strange, beautiful, and full of wonders! 🌠
