A World Beyond the World?

Imagine… you’re sitting on a rock, having a picnic by the edge of a lake. The water is crystal clear. You can see the fish swimming. Around you are flowers, plants, and trees gently swaying in the soft breeze.
🌸🌿🌳💧
The underwater world of the fish is limited to what they can see inside the water. Their eyes, placed on either side of their heads, can only perceive the world in two dimensions (2D). They cannot look upward—into the third dimension—where flowers bloom, trees stand tall, the sky is blue, and the air is filled with fragrance.
🐟⬅️➡️❌⬆️
Forward and backward, left and right—the fish swim in a flat, two-dimensional world, which is very different from your three-dimensional (3D) world!
✨🌍
Now imagine, if a fish were to suddenly leap out of the water and, even for a moment, see this new world, it would realize how limited its old world was!
🐠➡️💦🌈
Centuries ago, based on personal observation, humans believed the Earth was flat.
But when Yuri Gagarin traveled to space and looked back at the Earth, he saw a round, spinning blue ball.
🌍🚀👨🚀
Because he was viewing Earth from the third dimension—his observation revealed a new truth.
Modern science now tells us that time is also a dimension!
This means we don’t just live in three-dimensional space, but also in a fourth dimension called time.
⏳🌀
Einstein called it space-time.
Now the question is:
Just as the fish in the lake is unaware of the world beyond water…
Are we also unaware of another world beyond our universe—beyond space-time itself?
🤔🪐
Scientists call this theoretical realm Hyperspace.
Will we one day be able to peek into that world—
where the laws of space and time may be completely different?
🌠🔭
Maybe someday, like the fish, we too will leap out of our cosmic “lake” and discover new dimensions!
Glossary of Important Terms:
📘
Dimension:
Any direction like forward, backward, upward, downward — our world has three basic dimensions.
➡️⬅️⬆️⬇️
2D World (Two-Dimensional):
A world with only length and width—like a drawing on a sheet of paper.
📄✏️
3D World (Three-Dimensional):
The world we live in—includes length, width, and height.
🧍🌆
Fourth Dimension (4D or Time):
According to Einstein, time is also a dimension, connected with space.
⏰🧠
Hyperspace:
A theoretical realm that may exist outside our universe, possibly containing more dimensions.
